Based on Nonviolent Communication
What do you mean by “Nonviolent” communication?
Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a model for communication developed by psychologist Marshall Rosenberg. ‘Violent’ means any communication that leads to distance or strain in our relationships. Sadly, many of us communicate in ways which don’t serve to better our relationships but actually create distance between us and the other person.
The goal of Nonviolent Communication therefore is to create more understanding, trust and care in our relationships with others – be it a customer, a workshop participant, a colleague or an employee.
These communication skills are designed to increase your organisational impact.
Who am I?
I’m a facilitator and coach trained in Nonviolent (Compassionate) Communication. I’m passionate about how we relate to one another and endlessly curious and excited by how our communication affects the type of connection we have with others. I long to connect with other people, be it at work or in my personal life. My work is devoted to enhancing our communication skills to allow us to experience more safety, understanding, harmony and enjoyment.
I was born in Melbourne where I lived until the age of 28. I then moved to Israel where I live with my partner and our two children.
